Nusquama is a single novel made up of two novellas and a number of character sketches. It is set in New Zealand locations Lumsden, Christchurch and the West Coast of South Island. A revised edition appeared in 2022, the twentieth anniversary of its first publication. Film rights available.
Enclosures 3 and Enclosures 4 are the last issues in the series Enclosures (fiction, diary and experiment prose). The 'enclosures' are set in isolated bio- or necro-spheres real or unreal. They may be fiction, diary, experimental prose or chapters in a self-shaping "knovel" Stoat, or sections, often cross-sections of writing. Enclosures 3 is travel diary in the south of France, a crime story told in unpunctuated prose, a patient diary kept during a difficult 48 week treatment and a rave on the word 'tattoo'. Enclosures 2 contains autobiography, poetry, utopian vision and the creation of music in an underground bunker. The Ballad of Rue Belliard is a comic novel that has fun with language. Set in Paris, the story revolves around characters living on the northern edge of the 18th arrondissement, 2013, a clochard philosopher and the families of a fireman apprentice and a bakery girl. Published by The Writers Group.
Wormwood is a short novel about a refugee in Berlin (a migrant love connection, an underworld crime syndicate). First published 1997; several subsequent reprinting including translation. Film rights available.

Jules tells the tale of 24 hours inside the head of an English-born art historian whose special subject is the depiction of illness in Rennaissance art.
